It seems like no one can wait more then 2 years for a game to release. Paralives Release Date Due to the title being so bare-bones at the moment there's currently no specific release date. The patrons do get weekly updates on development among other perks, including physical rewards. They’ve chosen to work on the build mode and Paramaker to create a solid foundation before they can work on gameplay (you can learn more at /development). For the first year and a half there was only one programmer working on it.
The game is still only in the pre-alpha stages since it’s only been in development for 2.5 years. Maggie’s Reveal May 19th 2020, the day the first Parafolk, named Maggie by the community, was revealed. We still have a long way to go, and we have yet to know a release date and if there will be a demo or Early Access on Steam.

There's still no release date for Paralives yet, but there's tons of stuff going on over on developer Alex Mass's Patreon. Due to the title being so bare-bones at the moment there's currently no specific release date.
